Safety tips for everyone
These can happen from knives, hooks, barbed wire or other sharp objects.
You should wash the wound with soap and boiled water or use another means to disinfect it. Apply direct pressure and elevate the wound to stop the bleeding.
Cover the wound with a sterile dressing and change it daily. Watch for signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, pus or fever
