How do you fillet a fish?
Gather materials: Bubba knife, cutting board, gloves, and a clean fish. Rinse fish and pat dry.
Remove scales by scraping from tail to head with the knife's backside. Rinse and dry fish again.
Make a diagonal cut behind the pectoral fin towards the head, down to the backbone.
Cut along the backbone, keeping the blade close to it, until you reach the tail. Separate the fillet.
Lift fillet away from the backbone and set aside.
Flip fish and repeat for the other side.
Optionally, remove skin by sliding the knife between the skin and flesh, sawing gently.
Trim fillets, remove any remaining bones, and rinse and dry them.
Store in the fridge or cook your favorite fish recipe.
